For some magnificent reason that's not really clear to anyone, Australia is fucking nuts about Finnish DJ Darude and his late '90s mega trance hit Sandstorm.

It's been spun in clubs, Peking Duk dropped it at Stereosonic and then Future Music Festival went and added him to their bill. The bloody thing even re-charted.

Never ones to be left out of a party, Brisbane dirty rock duo DZ DEATHRAYS sharped their instruments and dropped a live cover at the Falls Festival recently.

It's spreading to. Our correspondent at New Zealand's Rhythm & Vines festival heard it in the camp grounds this morning.
