Toronto radio station CIND-FM, known as Indie88, has unleashed its most popular tracks of 2014 — and Australian acts feature from top to bottom.

All year-round listeners have been able to vote for the songs they want to hear and now the burgeoning indie outlet has made the 88 most requested songs of 2015 public.

And, Melbourne's Vance Joy has topped the list, beating out what is otherwise — and naturally so —  a very Canadian-flavoured countdown.

Joy's Rip Tide tops the chart, ahead of indie heavy hitters Arcade Fire (at two with Here Comes The Night Time), The National (at three with Graceless), Arctic Monkeys (at four with Do I Wanna Know?) and Alvvays (at five with Adult Diversion).

Joy appears on the list again with Mess Is Mine at 36.

Also scoring twice in the list are Perth psych kids Tame Impala, at 49 with Feels Like We Only Go Backwards and at 80 with Elephant.

In at 52 is Sydney's Boy & Bear with Southern Son.

Not surprisingly, there's also love for New Zealand's Lorde — at 84 with Team and at 69 with Yellow Flicker Beat.
