The Belligerents, Gang Of Youths, Seth Sentry and more...
Tastemaking radio station triple j have announced their playlist additions for next week, with seven local acts set to receive spins.
UK group Superfood have landed the Feature Album spot with Don’t Say That, the album released locally through Mushroom’s Liberator label.
Brisbane indie group The Belligerents have been plucked from the triple j Unearthed ranks and their track In My Way has been given a full add – they are currently unsigned. Gang Of Youths are hurtling towards their debut record, to be released early next year, and Benevolence Riots will be added to next week’s playlist. Future Classic-signed Sydney artist Hayden James has Something About You added, as does Melbourne rapper Seth Sentry with Run and the third most powerful person in Australian music Sia with Hostage.
There are spot playlist additions for independent unsung Adelaide rock outfit Grenadiers with Summer, while Liberation’s Kagu – aka Melbourne’s Sean Heathcliff – receives some love for Shadow Of The Wind.
