London duo Stanton Warriors uploaded the confronting clip to their Facebook page

Far away from the harmless good time that was that dude pretending to be Steve Aoki at Perth's Stereosonic festival recently, video footage has emerged of a brawl involving multiple people that allegedly erupted among the crowd at Sydney's iteration of the event this weekend past.

Posted to Facebook by London-based act Stanton Warriors for reasons best known to themselves (they're not here for the festival or anything, just FYI), the clip captures a large group of punters in brightly coloured shorts and the occasional T-shirt laying into each other — rather seriously, it should be added, with several participants hitting the ground for variously concerning lengths of time as security work to bring the situation under control — while the blissfully unaware DJ crows about how beautiful the crowd is and a guy rocking hot-pink-and-turquoise legwear determinedly carries on dancing while the plot of Street Fighter V: The Ravening plays out around him.

In probably unrelated news, nearly 200 people were charged with drug offences at the weekend event. Stereosonic continues to Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne this weekend. Take a cup.
