British veteran guitarist Johnny Marr isn't far off making the trip Down Under for his run of Aussie shows in January and February, but before he touches down for his 2015 tour, theMusic.com.au is proud to be able to host the Australian premiere of the just-released video clip for new single Dynamo.

Taken from his well-received sophomore full-length Playland, which was released in early October, Dynamo follows previous single release Easy Money as the next flagship track for the former Smiths guitarist's contemporary catalogue, a driving rock ditty stuffed with soaring refrains, steady verse chug, the odd dash of etherealism, and, of course, Marr's distinct vocal work, which transcends registers to capably sit amid murky depths as well as sit loftily atop the upward reaches of the chorus.
