Neil Diamond Announces Aussie Leg For 2015 World Tour

Fans will have to wait nearly a year for the dates though

Legendary troubadour Neil Diamond has announced the Australian and New Zealand-based legs of his forthcoming 2015 national world tour, though his fans Down Under still have to wait a while to see the veteran in the flesh.

Diamond won't hit Aussie shores until late October, following two dates in NZ earlier that month; he starts off at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, October 27, and takes in performances at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Saturday, October 31; Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, November 3; Tempus Two Winery, in the Hunter Valley, on Saturday, November 7; and wraps up with a final appearance in Sydney, at Allphones Arena, on Monday, November 9.

A man who should be no stranger to the sensibilities of any long-time music fan, Diamond will be touting fresh material from his latest studio full-length, Melody Road, which enjoyed a top-ten debut in Australia, as well as his gamut of much-loved classic cuts from his many decades of activity, including Cherry CherryHolly HolyCracklin' RosieSong Sung BlueYou Don't Bring Me FlowersSolitary ManDesiree And ShiloLove On The Rocks and, of course, Sweet Caroline.

 

Customers of Telstra Thanks will have first run at tickets for Neil Diamond's 2015 Australian shows; a registered 48-hour pre-sale will run from 10am (local time) on Monday, Decembr 8, until the same time on Wednesday, December 10.

From there, general release tickets will be up for grabs from 12pm (local time) on Thursday, December 11, with various options available, priced from $59.90 to $159.90 plus fees.
