More Kerser More Kerser

Animated Aussie rapper Kerser is on track to land in the ARIA Albums Chart top ten this week with his new LP KING.

The Obese-released album is the Western Sydney MC's fourth in as many years and could very well be his most confident yet, as he recently told us. KING's predecessor S.C.O.T, which dropped a year ago, went top five in its first week, almost beating pop favourite Katy Perry to the top spot. It will be another chart showing from the rapper considering his music has received little to no radio play.

The other big news in the Albums Chart this week will come from a showdown between boy-band icons One Direction and stadium rock heavyweights Nickelback. One Direction's Four was released on Monday, late for an Aus release so Nickelback's No Fixed Address will have a headstart on the LP. The two will have to knock-off the strong-selling albums from Foo Fighters (Sonic Highways) and Taylor Swift (1989).

Other album debuts this week will come from Garth Brooks (Man Against Machine), Cold Chisel (The Live Tapes Vol. 2: Live At Bombay Rock, April 27, 1979), Various (The Art Of McCartney), The Ghost Inside (Dear Youth), Various (Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6), Queen (Queen Forever) and Brooke Fraser (Brutal Romantic).

Once again, Katy Perry's current Aussie tour should see her albums Prism and Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection move up the chart, while, just in time for the festive season, Michael Buble's Christmas should also make a push up the list. Jimmy Barnes' latest 30:30 Hindsight is also expected to climb this week's chart.

On the ARIA Singles Chart front, Melbourne producer and DJ Will Sparks is on track to score the highest local debut of the week thanks to his new anthem Ah Yeah So What feat. Wiley and Elen Levon. The song is expected to land somewhere in the top five.

English producer Mark Ronson will also debut this week with his slick new jam Uptown Funk, as will the controversial Literally I Can't from Play-N-Skillz, Redfoo and Lil Jon.

Movers in this week's Singles Chart should come from Taylor Swift (Blank Space), Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding (Outside), One Direction (Steal My Girl), Parra For Cuva feat. Anna Naklab (Wicked Games) and 5 Seconds Of Summer (Good Girls).
