Gwen Stefani's Team On 'The Voice' Massacre Vance Joy's 'Riptide'

Melbourne singer-songwriter Vance Joy has enjoyed huge success thanks to his mega-hit Riptide, so it was only a matter of time before the track got the reality TV treatment.

The song was covered by Gwen Stefani's team on the latest episode of the US version of The Voice and while this will no doubt do wonders for Joy's profile and sales overseas considering it was watched by over 12 million people, this is possibly one of the most cringe-worthy and awful covers we've heard in a long time. You have been warned.

Joy is currently on tour in the US. No word on whether he's gonna pay Team Stefani a visit and show them how it's really done though...

The muso was recently announced as the support for Taylor Swift on her North American tour next year.
