Acclaimed Aussie troubadour Chet Faker (aka Nicholas Murphy) has announced his biggest national tour to date as he prepares to return home to kick off 2015 in a big way with the final leg of support for award-winning debut full-length Built On Glass.

The forthcoming jaunt — Faker's last in this album cycle — kicks off in the nation's capital, at Canberra's ANU Bar, on Wednesday, February 11, and takes the Talk Is Cheap scribe through Sydney (licensed all ages), Brisbane (AA), two spots at the Perth Festival (from February 20-21), and Melbourne (AA), wrapping up with a final all-ages appearance at Adelaide's Thebarton Theatre on Saturday, February 28.

The tour will see Chet flanked by a duo of musicians to form a full three-piece band, with support coming from Melburnian production whiz Roland Tings and up-and-coming funk revival outfit GL.

Built On Glass has raised Faker's profile considerably since its release, snaring the hirsute muso three ARIA Awards (from nine nominations), and it's also presently up for the 2014 J Award for Australian Album of the Year. Excitingly, Faker has also recently laid down his first iTunes Session, an exclusive six-track set featuring Built On Glass highlights and I'm Into You, from Faker's Thinking In Textures EP sessions. The session drops globally in a couple of weeks, on Friday, November 28, but is available for pre-order now.
