The Melbourne boys are finishing their year in as strong a position as possible

More Husky More Husky

Melburnian indie outfit Husky are showing no signs of slowing down just because the year is wrapping up, with the acclaimed band not only unveiling the new clip for fresh single Saint Joan today but backing it up with the revelation that they have become the newest signings to renowned German indie label Embassy of Music.

The Saint Joan clip came to life with dedicated assistance from fellow Victorian and experienced director/illustrator Lucinda Schreiber, who gave up six weeks of time she'll never get back to painstakingly animate the gorgeous new clip. With previous jobs to her name for acts such as Gotye and Midnight Juggernauts, Schreiber has turned in a beautifully executed animated adventure bookended with seamless transitions in and out of live shots to punctuate the piece.

Get amongst the freshly released video below.

The track is taken from the band's recently released lauded sophomore full-length Rucker's Hill, an album that has performed so strongly since its unveiling as to turn heads all the way over in continental Europe. Husky's signing with Embassy Of Music sees them join an already accomplished roster of acts, including fellow Aussies Ball Park Music and ascendant English troubadour Passenger.
