Bamboos Frontman Lance Ferguson Signs Global Publishing Deal

Looks towards collaborations

Lance Ferguson, frontman of The Bamboos, has signed a global publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Australia.

Producer, songwriter, Double J host, DJ and solo artist under his LANU moniker, Ferguson announced the deal today.

“I am totally excited to become a part of the Universal Publishing roster alongside some of my favourite artists including Bjork, M-Phazes, Metronomy, Feist, Kelis and so many more,” he said.

“So much of my work with The Bamboos and Lanu has been about collaborating with other artists and I can't think of a better home to enable me to continue down that road.”

Heath Johns, Director of A&R for Universal Music Publishing Australia, said, “I’ve always admired the quality and diversity of Lance’s work from The Bamboos to Lanu and everything in between.

“Lance is incredibly talented and motivated and we are looking forward to fostering further collaborations and writing opportunities for him at home and abroad.”

Ferguson is managed by IE:Inertia and booked in Australia, New Zealand and Asia by Niche Productions.
