Three names step in to fill her shoes

Three Australian music veterans will step in to replace Kasey Chambers on the Queenscliff Music Festival line-up, as the country star recovers from inflammation on her vocal chords.

Local industry legends Richard Clapton, Daryl Braithwaite and Russell Morris will take the stage as the Good Times Band on Saturday 29 November, the second day of the event.

Chambers was forced to pull out of the Victorian event, and her upcoming headline shows on doctor's orders, with the singer diagnosed with small nodules.

"Doctors have advised that I lighten my workload considerably for a little while to give them a chance to heal," she said in a statement.
