A founding member of Joy Division and New Order, the outspoken Peter Hook has announced his return to Australian shores with his band The Light.

The tour, taking place February next year, will see bassist Hook and band play New Order’s third and fourth albums Low Life and Brotherhood in their entirety. They’ll also play a supporting slot for themselves filled with Joy Division classics.

That means you can expect tracks lie Perfect Kiss, Bizarre Love Triangle and State Of The Nation trotted out.

Although he has an up-and-down relationship with fellow members of Joy Division and New Order, Hook has continued to recreate the classics live around the world.

The 2015 tour kicks off in Perth before visiting Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. Tickets go on sale Thursday 30 October from here.
