Six names unveiled for the iconic festival

The iconic National Folk Festival has unveiled the first five acts on next year’s line-up, with high quality acts being flown in from around the world to perform at Exhibition Park, Canberra over the Easter long weekend.

The first names on the bill include the likes of Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas, who will be bringing their blend of infectious Scottish dance music to the table; NSW-based singer-songwriter Mark Moldre joins the bill, as does Canada’s Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys, plus Canberra’s Fred Smith and contemporary folk duo Dark Horses.

The five day event, which runs from 2-6 April, is set to host over 200 international and national acts, and you can grab early bird tickets via folkfestival.org.au now.
