You+Me make a surprise entrance at #2 knocking Ed Sheeran down

As predicted from midweek figures, triple j’s annual Like A Version has come in at number one on the ARIA Albums chart, making the tenth installment of the cover series the station’s second chart topper in as many years.

Featuring the likes of Lorde, Dan Sultan, Chet Faker and an electric mix of other acts playing covers of other artists' songs, it was a perfect storm of greatness for Like A Version Ten.

A pending tour announcement from You+Me saw their new record, Rose Ave, debut at two, knocking Ed Sheeran’s X and the soundtrack to Frozen to three and four respectively.

Punters are finally forgiving U2 after their iTunes debacle last month, with Songs Of Innocence jumping in at seven, while other fresh moves came from Jessie J in at 14 with Sweet Talker, Hozier's self-titled set in at 20, Yellowcard sliding in at 21 with Lift A Sail and New Found Glory entering the top 50 at 33 with Ressurection.
