New music from Augie March, Johnny Marr, Weezer and more

Augie March Havens Dumb (Dark Satanic/Caroline)

Aussie rock-band Augie March have returned after a five-year hiatus to reveal their fifth studio album. "There’s a typical density of ideas and musical styles" said reviewer Ross Clelland, so fans will no doubt want a listen (or many) when Havens Dumb drops tomorrow.

Davey Lane – Atonally Young (Field/MGM)

Kicking off his solo career with his first full-length album Atonally Young, You Am I's Davey Lane shows exactly why he's been a mainstay of the local industry. According to Lukas Murphy, "this one was well worth the wait" so it should come as no surprise that Atonally Young is The Music's Album Of The Week.

Johnny Marr Playland (Warner)

English musician Johnny Marr will release Playland this week, which will be his second solo album in as many years. Marr is "continuing to mine big indie guitar sounds, anthemic vocals and now some electronic undercurrents", according to reviewer Chris Familton.
