Sia, Chet Faker And More Up For Fine Arts ARIA Awards

Seven categories reveal their noms

We've got our first taste of who will be in the running to win some ARIAs in 2014, with the nominees for the Fine Arts & Artisan awards revealed today.

There are a number of acclaimed names up for gongs, including modern pop songwriting sensation Sia for Best Cover Art for 1000 Forms Of Fear, Gurrumul and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for Best Original Soundtrack/Cast/Show Album for Gurrumul: His Life And Music, electro crooner Chet Faker is up for Producer Of The Year for his debut LP Built On Glass and rising indie star Dustin Tebbutt for Engineer Of The Year for his Bones EP.

These awards will be presented to the winners at a ceremony next Tuesday 7 October at the Art Gallery Of NSW, which is when the full ARIA Awards noms will also be revealed.

This year's awards will take place at The Star Event Centre, Sydney on Wednesday 26 November.
