The recently-installed Managing Director for Warner Music Australia's Parlophone and Warner Bros. Records divisions, Mark Poston is alleged to be splitting from the company in the near future.

Poston was installed in the position by Warner Music Australia’s Managing Director Tony Harlow in January this year, 12 months after he was the highest profile casualty of Universal’s purchase of EMI, where he was Senior Vice President. Multiple sources have today relayed the news that Poston, currently overseas, will not be returning to the role.

Representatives from Warner asked for comment by theMusic.com.au have not responded today.

During his brief tenure at Warner Poston oversaw the campaigns for the latest albums by Coldplay, including their promotional visit to Australia, Kimbra and Kylie Minogue.
