Natural NZ Music Festival is heading to the Riverstage

The Natural NZ Music Festival, a showcase of some of the best New Zealand artists to Aus audiences, has confirmed its expansion into Brisbane.

The event, which for the last four years has taken place in Perth, will now also be held in the Queensland capital at the Riverstage venue, with artists such as rock stalwarts Shapeshifter, genre-bending reggae troupe The Black Seeds and Kiwi legend Dave Dobbyn confirmed for the event.

The festival's director Brian Terry said that Brisbane was a logical next move for the event, saying it "just makes sense."

"When we were thinking of a Queensland venue, Riverstage was the only option- it’s iconic, very central and only a walk away from two train stations," said Terry.
