Alt-JThis Is All Yours (Infectious/Liberator)

English quartet Alt-J are bringing back their unusual indie sounds with second album This Is All Yours, which is set to be unveiled officially tomorrow. According to reviewer Amorina Fitzgerald-Hood, the album "becomes beautiful and complex at times" but whether it matches up to their debut An Awesome Wave is another thing.

Missy HigginsOz (Eleven/Universal)

Aussie singer-songwriter Missy Higgins has created a brand new 15-track cover album for all of us to enjoy when it is released tomorrow. As The Music’s Album Of The Week, you can expect to hear some unique sounds as she takes on some of Australia’s most beloved songs from artists such as Dan Sultan, The Drones and Something For Kate.

Step-PantherStrange But Nice (HUB/Inertia)

Holding onto what they did best in their debut album, Step-Panther have managed to leap forward with second album Strange But Nice and produce songs that have really stepped up their musical game. The Music’s Chris Familton said that the trio now has "good ideas and the ability to shape and execute them" so be sure to grab a copy.

TweedySukierae (Anti-/Warner)

Americana mainstay Jeff Tweedy will finally release his first solo album in what has been a three-decade career. The muso, along with his son Spencer, have created a record that's "a calm and assuring selection of songs, with enough variety in mood and construction that it never lags or feels tonally repetitive," according to The Music's Steve Bell.
