The John Butler Trio have been forced to postpone a run of Queensland shows and downsize for the Caloundra Music Festival after bassist Byron Luiters broke his wrist.

The injury occurred while Luiters was snowboarding in New Zealand recently and will now go through recovery and rehabilitation programs before the band’s scheduled appearances at the Falls and Southbound festivals over the New Year’ period.

Their headline slot has the Caloundra festival has been downsized to a solo performance by John Butler at the earlier time of 6pm, with Megan Washington and ban added to the bill.

The Queensland shows scheduled for October 2014 have been moved to March 2015. All current tickets are automatically valid, while refunds will also be available from point of purchase.
