The Kiwi rapper joins the hub on a multi-faceted deal

New Zealand rapper and recent local charts frequenter Savage has signed a multi-faceted deal with Ministry Of Sound Australia.

The artist, who is currently enjoying success in the top five of the ARIA Singles Chart with his Timmy Trumpet collaboration Freaks, has joined Ministry on a recording deal, but is also now on the 120 Publishing roster for writing and Soapbox Artists, who will handle select parts of Savage's Aus touring commitments. Both 120 Publishing and Soapbox Artists fall under the Ministry banner.

Savage first came to our attention on fellow Kiwi Scribe's hit Not Many — The Remix about a decade ago, and has since gone one to enjoy several high-charting hits including 2005's Moonshine featuring urban music star Akon.

His track internationally-known track Swing was remixed by local producer Joel Fletcher last year, peaking at two on the ARIA Singles Chart.
