New music from Seekae, Megan Washington, Slash and more
The Frowning Clouds – Legalize Everything (Rice Is Nice/Inertia)
Five-piece band The Frowning Clouds will be unleashing some old-school psychedelic sounds when their latest offering is released tomorrow. According to The Music's Hannah Story, "they’re totally unlike other psych bands on the scene" so if you want to hear something fresh, these are the boys to listen to.
Megan Washington – There There (Mercury/Universal)
The singer who brought you hits like Clementine and I Believe You Liar is returning with a whole new set of new tracks for your listening pleasure. "You still feel the best of Megan Washington is yet to come" said The Music’s Ross Clelland but this record, her first in three years, is still more than worth a listen.
Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators – World On Fire (Dik Hayd International/Sony)
Legendary guitarist Slash has embarked on his third solo album and any long-time fan will not be disappointed with the slick riffs and sleazy swagger that drips easily off this rock veteran. "When World On Fire gels though, it’s memorable" said reviewer Brendan Crabb so make sure you grab a copy when it drops tomorrow.
Seekae – The Worry (Future Classic)
Sydney-based Seekae have procured their third album to date and it is filled with electronic goodies that will make any first-time listener a fan.
