Create/Control To Release Upcoming New Order Album

Local independent label Create/Control will release the new album from English rock veterans New Order, as part of the band's recent deal with iconic London-based imprint Mute Records.

The outfit are readying up to start work on their tenth studio album, the follow-up to last year's Lost Sirens.

Of the signing, the influential New Order, who formed out of Manchester icons Joy Division in 1980, said:

"In many ways joining the label feels like we are coming home, returning to our independent roots."

Create/Control, helmed by Paul Pittico, partnered up with Mute earlier this year, with the seventh record from Brooklyn band Liars the first release off the deal.
