Meg Mac Named As New Telstra Spiegeltent Headliner

The Telstra Spiegeltent — the flagship venue of the annual Brisbane Festival, which kicks off this weekend — has announced its new headline act following the withdrawal from the event of previous drawcard Damien Jurado, with ascendant Aussie performer Meg Mac all lined up to fill the void.

Riding high on the success of her recently released debut EP MEGMAC, as well as a run of sold-out gigs in South Australia, Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, the Sydney-bred singer-songwriter will perform cuts from the record — including acclaimed singles Known Better, Every Lie and Roll Up Your Sleeves — to Queensland audiences for the first time when she graces the famed stage of the Telstra Spiegeltent on Sunday, September 21.
