A noble spirit embiggens the smallest festival

Fear not, Victorians and New South Welshfolk — lest you feel the icy FOMO sting, Brissy-bred festival The Blurst Of Times has announced that it is bringing itself to your door this October.

Proudly presented by The Music, The Blurst Of Times will waltz into Melbourne on Sunday, October 19, and Sydney the following week, on Sunday, October 26. The artist rosters for the new events will be announced this coming Monday, but with Brisbane's recently unveiled line-up including the likes of DZ Deathrays, Dick Diver, the legendary Hard-Ons, local acts Blank Realm, Babaganouj, Major Leagues, Orphans Orphans and others, you can expect the organisers to have achieved a very similar standard in putting together the performance regiments for the festival's inaugural southern iterations.

Last year's very first Blurst Of Times celebration, around Easter, included appearances from Splendour heroes Violent Soho, the many-membered Velociraptor, the returning Major Leagues, stalwart indie kids The Cairos and many more. It returns to Brisbane on Saturday, October 18, with 25 bands across three venues.
