Falcona Acquires Artist Cartel Management Company

Sydney-based management, booking and touring agency Falcona has officially become one of the country’s largest music managment companies with the announcement today of its aquisition of the Artist Cartel agency.

Artist Cartel is also based in Sydney, and before merging with Falcona held management deals for the likes of Perth risers Sun City and Crooked Colours, Melbourne’s Deja, Sydney-bred Conics, and Paces, a Gold Coast-based producer, all of whom now join the existing Falcona management roster, which already includes a range of incendiary acts including electro-whiz Alison Wonderland, Hayden James, local buzz boys DMA’s, Pluto Jonze, Brave and Mickey Kojak.

“Falcona is one of the most respected independent names in the game and we’re thrilled to be joining forces with such a creative and energetic team,” Artist Cartel managing director Ben Robinson (pictured) said in a statement.

Speaking for Falcona, director Chris Murray expressed: “Our artist management arm is experiencing an exciting period of growth as we welcomed both Leon Rogovoy recently and now Ben and his team at Artist Cartel.

"It continues a strong 2014 for Falcona that’s seen releases from many of our artists along with sold-out tours at home and very exciting machinations abroad.”

Falcona will be throwing something of a welcome party for the new additions with a pre-BIGSOUND party – arguably the biggest on offer – on Tuesday, September 9, at Oh Hello! in Fortitude Valley.
