The rap icon's next full-length, 'Shady XV', will likely see release this November

More Eminem More Eminem

Just over a year after releasing his previous studio effort, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, US hip-hop luminary Eminem has announced the forthcoming release of a new retrospective project, titled Shady XV.

As revealed in a statement overnight after some extensive speculation following its original announcement, Shady XV will be a two-CD collection sporting the greatest hits of Mathers’ label Shady Records' 15-year existence as well as a bundle of new tracks.

That means it’s not just gonna be Shady’s tunes on offer – we’re just as likely to see cuts such as In Da Club (50 Cent) as we are Lose Yourself, plus new tracks from Mathers himself as well as the likes of Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf.

The ambitious undertaking comes — fittingly — fifteen years after the 1999 debut of The Slim Shady LP and features guest vocals from ubiquitous Aussie singer-songwriter Sia on a just-released track from the album, Guts Over Fear.

Have a listen to the track below (if you're here for Sia more than Mathers, skip ahead to about 1:20) and bask in your enjoyment of either having one of Australia's finest sit so prominently in such a high-profile release, or just the fact that there's new Eminem to be had on the horizon, if that's your thing.

Guts Over Fear is featured on the soundtrack for Anton Fuqua's feature-length film, The Equalizer, which is due out in September.
