Brissy's newest camping event just got a little more progressive (rock)

More Closure In Moscow More Closure In Moscow

Fledgling Queensland camping festival Jungle Love — proudly presented by The Music — is building on its already-impressive line-up of artists with the announcement today that stalwart Melburnian prog-rockers Closure In Moscow have joined the festival as Friday-night headliners.

The Victorian mainstays have been a fixture of local and international alternative circles since breaking through with their warmly received hit single Sweetheart back in 2010, and have since gone on to melt minds and faces alike at high-profile stages around the world such as at Warped Tour, South By Southwest, Homebake, Pyramid Rock and a ream of American sojourns and festival appearances.

With fresh full-length Pink Lemonade under their belts, and the rejuvenation typical of a band at the outset of a new album cycle, the lads are well-placed to set Jungle Love's first-night festivities alight with their polished, assured brand of convention-challenging, progressive tunes.

Closure In Moscow aren't the only additions to the roster, however - they'll be additionally joined by new recruits Fat Susan, a resurgent home-town band who recently shook off the ring rust to sell out their first show in two years, at the Alhambra Lounge, and Boss Moxi, who will sadly be pulling up stumps following their Jungle Love performance - so there's plenty of motivation to get along on that fact alone.
