Tickets for the forthcoming Nick Cave end-of-year tour of Australia and New Zealand are dropping like flies, with more shows in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney selling out, resulting in a final date being added to Cave’s scheduled appearances in Melbourne as a last gift to fans.

With thirteen of the sixteen previously announced shows now sold out, the final new date will go down at the Melbourne Convention And Exhibition Centre on Thursday, December 18, with tickets up for sale via Oztix from a couple of weeks from now, on Tuesday, August 26.

The three remaining shows with tickets include one in Adelaide (Festival Theatre, December 1), Brisbane (Convention Centre, December 3) and the Gold Coast (Convention And Exhibition Centre, December 4). Tickets for those shows are available now – see the Gig Guide or The Music App for more information on getting your hands on those.

Cave has rounded out the final show addition by revealing the full complement of musicians that will be joining his tour ensemble, featuring long-time collaborator Warren Ellis on guitar/violin/mandolin/loops, Martyn Casey on bass, Thomas Wydler on drums/percussion, and Barry Adamson providing keys/vibraphone action.
