The Brisbane Powerhouse will stand host to the Wonderland Festival this December, introducing a eclectic mixture of alternative comedy, cabaret, circus and music. Submissions are now open for any artists representing the unofficial theme of the festival; anything out of the ordinary.

The Powerhouse Plaza will be transformed into a dynamic venue, hosting indoor and outdoor stages.

Some of the artists already lined up include the boys from Briefs with their risqué burlesque show as well as the Kransky Sisters working alongside Topology to present a celebration of television and film.

The festivities take place between 5 and 14 Dec; tickets will go on sale soon. Submissions for additional artists close 22 Aug; visit the Powerhouse website for more info.
