First Albums For $30,000 Amp Award Revealed

Ball Park Music, DZ Deathrays and Chet Faker among the first named

The prestigious $30,000 Coopers Amp Australian album award have announced the first artists added to the long-list for 2015, with Ball Park Music, Chet Faker and Remi among others making the cut.

PPCA have confirmed they'll once again fund the Amp (the long title of which is the Australian Music Prize), and judging will be done via a panel of 15 judges, consisting of four new members, using Spotify.

East Brunswick All Girls Choir - Seven Drummers
HTRK - Psychic 9-5 Club

Artists hoping to be added to the long-list need to email info@australianmusicprize.com.au with their name, album title and its commercial release date, and music must be by Australian artist with a release of nine or more separate tracks with a total run time of 33 minutes.
