More The Tea Party More The Tea Party

Veteran rock outfit The Tea Party have announced their eagerly awaited return to Australia this October with the revelation of their planned The Ocean At The End Tour, their fourteenth visit to the country.

The tour takes its name from the band’s soon-to-be released so-titled full-length album, their first such effort in a decade, though they were last here only two years ago for a sell-out run of shows following an eight-year hiatus.

Kicking off at Perth’s Crown Theatre on October 9, the tour will see compatriots Jeff Martin (vocals/guitar), Stuart Chatwood (bass/keyboard) and Jeff Burrows (drums/percussion) capitalise on their rejuvenated sense of momentum to deliver material from throughout their career and especially their impending eighth LP, due for release on September 5 via Anthem/Sony Music Entertainment.

Joining The Tea Party for The Ocean At The End Tour will be none other than stalwart ARIA Award winners The Superjesus, who similarly reformed last year following a ten-year break from active duty, and stand primed to deliver another slew of powerful, infectious live appearances peppered with anthemic standouts from across their catalogue, including Shut My Eyes, Gravity and Down Again.
