Sugar Mountain Festival Unveils Date For 2015 Event

Melbourne-based music and arts festival Sugar Mountain has revealed the date for next year's fourth iteration of the event, to be produced in collaboration with new partners Mushroom Group.

Taking to Facebook this morning, armed only with an enigmatic, minimal picture to spread its message, the celebrated boutique event announced that it will go down on Saturday, January 24, 2015.

Additional details are scant (non-existent, really) at this stage, with the festival playing things pretty close to the chest given the early stages of revelation, but expect it to capitalise in a big way on the newly vacated weekend spot once so feverishly held by the exeunt Big Day Out.

Still, with previous events hosting appearances from esteemed acts such as Dirty Projectors, Boomgates, Jonti, Hunx & His Punx, and Collarbones — and the might of Mushroom behind it — you can expect that 2015 will do its fair share towards maintaining Sugar Mountain's burgeoning reputation as one of the country's premier boutique event options on the calendar.
