Eight-time Grammy Award-nominated performer Tori Amos has announced that she will be extending her Unrepentant Geraldines world tour to include a string of dates in Australia this November.

The tour, which is named for her recently released, Top 10-charting 14th studio LP (available now via Universal Music Australia), takes in a particularly exciting appearance at the Sydney Opera House, where Amos will be accompanied by the 42-member-strong Sydney Symphony.

The Trouble's Lament and Promise scribe will also make solo theatre stops in Melbourne (the Palais), Adelaide (Her Majesty's), Perth (Riverside), and Brisbane (QPAC Concert Hall) while she's in the country, her first such performances since her last Australian tour in November 2009.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am next Friday, July 18. A My Live Nation pre-sale will be available for members from 1pm on Monday, July 14, until 5pm Tuesday, July 15 (or supplies are exhausted) – see the Live Nation website for details.
