Architects Announce Aussie Headline Shows

It'll be their first such appearances since 2010

More Architects More Architects

British metalcore stalwarts Architects will play their first headline shows in Australia since 2010, taking time out to assume centre stage while they're here supporting The Amity Affliction on the latter's recently announced Let The Ocean Take Me tour.

With an understandably packed schedule, the band has only found the chance to fit in two such appearances – one each in Melbourne and Sydney, on September 1 and 2 respectively – but with US hardcore peddlers (and Amity tour buddies) Stray From The Path and the Sydney-grown Hand Of Mercy, who are prepping for the release of third LP Resolve, coming along for the party, there's sure to be more than enough intensity and energy to make up for the limited headline appearances.

Architects are long-time friends of Australia, having previously supported Amity as well as esteemed peers Parkway Drive, and appeared on our festival stages at Soundwave in 2010. In the time since, they've been honing their craft even further, with their cumulative experience resulting in this year's March release of their sixth studio full-length, Lost Forever//Lost Together, which stepped out in style at #13 on the ARIA Album Charts.
