'Think You're So Free' is the first taste from forthcoming LP 'FVEY'

More Shihad More Shihad

A matter of days ago, resilient Kiwi rockers Shihad made it known they'd be returning to stereos everywhere with their forthcoming tenth studio full-length, FVEY, on August 15. The stalwart outfit are wasting no time in keeping the momentum going, though, now following up that announcement with the release of their excellent new clip for first single Think You're So Free.

"It's heavy but you move all the way through it," frontman Jon Toogood said of the single in a statement. "That's what [Killing Joke frontman and producer] Jaz [Coleman] does, even the heavy stuff; he always makes sure you can dance to it."

Get your armchair groove on with the new clip below:

The gorgeous black-and-white video was directed by award-winning auteur and long-time Shihad collaborator Sam Peacocke, who said of the production: “In my mind, Think You're So Free is about the slow, subtle and often imperceptible process of eroding freedom and rights that is happening in many parts of life right here in New Zealand, and I guess that the imagery in the video reflects my feelings about this ongoing process in which we are all a part of.”
