Er, "well". It treats us "well". Come on, Sonia Dada

More Chet Faker More Chet Faker

Ubiquitous Aussie entertainer Chet Faker swung by the triple j studios this morning for another week's Like A Version, only - to the surprise of hosts Veronica and Lewis - it wasn't just Faker, but an entire choir of people letting themselves in to the room Where Magic Happens.

The point behind Faker bringing a vocal regiment along for the ride soon became clear, though, as he launched into a truly stunning, soulful version of Sonia Dada's flagship single (Lover) You Don't Treat Me No Good, capably backed up by minimalistic percussion, clap-alongs, chuggy, casual guitar, and lush group harmonies. It's a classy performance from a classy man.

Well, except for that hat. You're indoors, Chet. Ahh, but you make such good music. It's...a conundrum.

Anyway, get amongst it. It'll brighten up your Friday considerably.
