More The Presets More The Presets

Recently, we brought you the story of Isaac Delusion, a French band who claimed to have released the world's first “ever-changing” music video. Now, luminous Aussie electro duo The Presets (Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes) join the ranks of global song-clip innovators by presenting an unprecedented six-sided, interactive video for their brand new single No Fun.

Dubbed the No Fun Cube, the video – directed by veteran David Bowie, Kanye West and Banks filmographer Barnaby Roper – is presented in conjunction with fledgling music platform Google Play, and allows listeners to interact with six full-length music videos simultaneously running on each side of the Cube, twisting and turning and spinning it round to give yourself a unique viewing/listening experience, and bestowing the project with an “ever-changing” dimension of its own.

Have a mess around with it below, because you can (best with Chrome):

Google Play is lending heavy support to The Presets' launch, not only making the track available for purchase but hosting it exclusively for 48 hours prior to its official release, from today. In addition, Google Play is offering a free, exclusive download of ascendant house star Lancelot's No Fun remix.

The track follows the duo's recent single Goodbye Future, continuing the band's aesthetically nihilistic leanings of late while undercutting that motif with infectious grooves and undeniable joy.

Variant remixes of No Fun will be made available courtesy of RÜFÜS, Eekkoo, Phil Kieran and UK outfit Wax Wings.

Keep an eye on The Presets' website for all your obsessive Hamilton and Moyes needs.
