Not that we expected any less

More Sia XXX More Sia XXX

Mononymous chanteuse Sia has been acting out of sorts lately, making decreasingly rare appearances on US talk shows to promote her recent single Chandelier.

However, with hindsight, we can probably chalk it up to her uncontrollable excitement over the forthcoming release of her new LP, 1000 Forms Of Fear -- at least, we certainly can as far as the early release of her newest cut, Big Girls Cry, is concerned.

"SURPRISE! Couldn't wait any longer, here's "Big Girls Cry"!!" the acclaimed performer wrote on her SoundCloud page.

Big Girls Cry finds Sia in typically fine form, her low-register vocals packing an emotion and depth that suffers no loss as she transcends into higher pitches, skilful cadence and strong, warm timbres, backed by reverb-dappled percussion and atmospheric, considered instrumentation.
