Sibling rivalry gets kicked up a notch when travel and board games get involved

Following the sell-out season of Dancing Naked In The Backyard, Brave New World is now ready to bring its next original Aussie work, Of Monopoly And Women, to Exchange Hotel in Balmain.

It will run as a collaborative piece of theatre that includes dinner, with shows on selected dates between July 9 and 24.

Of Monopoly And Women tells the story of artist Zoe, who lives with her sisters Kate and Ella. The peaceful dynamics of the household quickly become tense and uncomfortable when Zoe wins a photography competition prize of a trip to Paris for two – both Kate and Ella feel entitled to go as Zoe's guest and those familial chestnuts of manipulation and old wounds come into play. Finally, they come up with a solution: a game of Monopoly. Will it work, though?

Directed by Sascha Hall and featuring the acting talents of Ainslie Clouston, Victoria Greiner, Bianca Raess and Mark Taylor. Book your tickets via Brave New World's website.
