More Husky More Husky

Hirsute'n'handsome three-piece Husky are heading out on a national tour next month to celebrate the release of impending single I'm Not Coming Back.

Joined by touring drummer Arron Light, core members Husky Gawenda, Gideon Preiss and Evan Tweedie will traverse the populous centres of Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Fremantle, Sydney and Brisbane.

The Northcote Social Club, Jive Bar, Rosemount Hotel, Mojos, Newtown Social Club and Black Bear Lodge will host the band's first such headlining jaunt in two years, which will canvass material from the band's acclaimed debut full-length Forever So as well as new cuts from their more recent writing sessions.

I'm Not Coming Back, which drops on Monday, June 30, will form an early taster of what you can expect from Husky's as-yet unheard catalogue. The song was written by Gawenda to be a narrative-driven, immersive tale, fuelled by late nights and the white noise of passing air traffic. Be sure to check it out when it comes out in a little over a week.
