More Bodyjar More Bodyjar

Australian punk trailblazers Bodyjar have kicked their 20th-anniversary celebrations up a notch by revealing on Facebook that they will be playing their seminal 1996 LP Rimshot in its entirety at each and every show on their forthcoming commemorative tour.

"Stoked to let you all know after many band discussions we have decide to do something extra special for the 20th anniversary tour," the band wrote. "We will be playing our 1996 album Rimshot in full every night! Then after that you guys just yell out what you want and we will give it a crack."

It's fair to say that this is a much more enticing development than Bodyjar's previously promoted pisstake VIP package, and it's not even the only announcement they made in the post; they also revealed that a second show at Melbourne's Corner Hotel has been organised to cope with demand. It will take place on Sunday, August 10.

Bodyjar's 20th-anniversary tour commences at Brisbane's Hi-Fi on Thursday, August 7, and takes in shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. Check the Gig Guide below for more information regarding venues and ticketing details for each city.
