The industry's finest offer their thoughts on the country's foremost bards of Satan

More Gay Paris More Gay Paris

It ain't easy, this record-making business, and Sydney-based Satan-lovers Gay Paris know this all too well. Thus, like so many other bands in the battlefield of creative arts, the hirsute quartet has turned to crowdfunding to create their forthcoming third album.

Using the Pledge Music platform in an effort to realise their dream of heading to San Francisco to revisit their camaraderie with Panda Studios super-producer Sam Pura, the boys then turned to some of the nation's foremost media and industry figures - including members of bands such as The Beards, King Parrot, Harmony, Super Best Friends, The Mercy Beat and King Of The North, artists such as Kira Puru, Triple M personality Higgo and Tasmanian 7.30 journo Michael Aitken - to garner support for the campaign.

Whether or not they actually got any, however, is a different story. You'll have to watch the video below to find out the truth for yourselves, and we would definitely advise hanging around until the end for a stirring musical tribute courtesy of Sheriff's Thomas Watson.

Gay Paris' Pledge Music campaign will run for another 53 days, so you have ample opportunity to scrape together some extra cash to help the lads out with making their dream of being international recording artists (and thus gain esteem with the Devil) before time runs out. Check the Pledge page for a full list of donations and rewards.
