Iconic Aussie band Hoodoo Gurus have revealed their upcoming slot at Splendour In The Grass will be something very special, with the line-up behind their much-lauded debut album Stoneage Romeos to reform for the festival.

Dave Faulkner today confirmed that former members James Baker and Clyde Bramley will join the band on stage when they perform tracks from the LP, as well as an epic finale that will see the entire band play together. Baker left the band not long after the album was released, while Bramley departed in the late 80s.

"It'll be an historic reenactment of our evolution through song - plus it marks a welcome return of two key members from our early days," Faulkner said of the news.

The Gurus are set to play on the first night of the mammoth festival, which will feature performances from OutKast, Lily Allen, Two Door Cinema Club and loads more.
