More Thundamentals More Thundamentals

The Groovin The Moo regional touring festival is well and truly underway after three events across the ANZAC day weekend, and there's already been a few special moments.

It's a big festival run for Sydney's Thundamentals, because they're about to release a new album So We Can Remember – their first since 2011 – this Friday through Obese. Their first single Something I Said has been flogged on radio, and the album's been picked up by triple j a s this week's feature album.

To capture this pivotal time in the band's career (those who have heard the record know that this is the biggest thing they've done to date) we embedded photographer Cole Bennetts with the band as they travelled to the Canberra date. He spent time with the band during their signing tent commitments, their warm-up, with the crowd and even on stage during their set to deliver this stunning insight into a band who are quickly proving why they are one of the country's best loved hip hop acts.
