ON THE ROAD

Progressive folk muso Isaac De Heer will embark on a run of dates this May and June. The tour will celebrate his new album Summer, also out next month. Read on.

Hard rock outfit Hailmary will drop their new EP next month. Navigate The Sunrise will be out via Black Wolf Records/Third Verse Management and the guys are playing some shows to coincide with the release. Details.

SIGN THE DOTTED LINE

London-based outfit Buchanan have signed a booking deal with 123 Agency. The band, led by frontman and songwriter Josh Simons, are expected to announce some shows back home in Aus over the coming months. More.

TIDBITS

It's been a big week for a number of indie labels in the ARIA Charts, with Chet Faker and Sheppard holding down the top spots in both the albums and singles charts respectively. Chet Faker is signed to Future Classic, while Sheppard are part of Chugg Music/MGM. Details.

It's the end of the line for Melbourne eight-piece The Good China, who've announced their spilt after six years together. The band are playing a couple of send-off gigs this month and in June. Read on.
