In Hearts Wake give players the power to work out whatever rage they may have for the PM and his party's policies

More In Hearts Wake More In Hearts Wake

You could say much about Byron Bay's own brothers-in-brutality, In Hearts Wake, but one thing you could never charge them with is the kind of existential apathy that permeates most people under the age of 40.

With the release of their second full-length, Earthwalker, just around the corner, the environmentally conscious hardcore quintet have collaborated with emissions solutions provider Carbon Neutral in producing Earth Invaders, a free browser-based video game sure to please anyone who's taken issue with our country's existing policies when it comes to Mother Nature.

Inspired by the iconic arcade game Space Invaders and the band's own distaste for unsustainable practices, Earth Invaders lets fans assume the role of a squirrel-ised version of one of the IHW boys and lob a limitless stream of acorns at Tony Abbott's army of encroaching bulldozers, the ranks of which are transfixed on destroying Earthwalker forest!

Take that, industrialist scum!

Hardcore players who surpass the 80,000-point mark will earn themselves access to an exclusive, otherwise unreleased track, Healer, but if you're the freak of nature that lands at the very top of the leaderboard, you'll win a special test pressing copy of the LP for your efforts.
