More Bluesfest More Bluesfest

Reports from the first day of Bluesfest are filtering through and, surprise, everyone's talking about John Mayer's set.

The heartthrob guitarist had the crowd in the palm of his hand during his headlining slot, with theMusic.com.au's reviewer Cameron Warner reporting: “The 90-minute set was a showcase of Mayer's guitar prowess, he spread out his hits like Who Says, and Gravity and threw in some traditional 12 bar blues tracks with a few ten minute guitar solos.”

And for anyone who isn't a huge Mayer fan, “the collection of sobbing females front of stage would probably disagree with any criticisms.”
