Bonjah have signed a worldwide publishing deal with Native Tongue ahead of the release of their third album this week.

Under the deal theMusic.com.au can confirm that Native Tongue will manage the Melbourne band's rights for new album Beautiful Wild, their previous two records and all songwriting moving forward.

The band's vocalist said, “It's great for us to find a home at Native Tongue, we look forward to working with Matt [Tanner], Jaime [Gough] and the Native Tongue team for many years to come.

“It's great for an independent band like us to have a team officially on board to help get our music heard around the world.”

The album was written across an 18th month period and then produced by Jan Skubiszewski. They have released three tracks from it – Evolution, Blue Tone Black Heart and Honey – and it will be released Friday 18 April through Inertia.

Native Tongue have become one of the country's biggest independent music publishing houses, with Cut Copy and Shapeshifter joining their roster this earlier this year. Clairy Browne, Oh Mercy, The Amity Affliction and Mia Dyson are on their books and they also look after the catalogues for Elvis Presley Enterprises, Beggars Music and Domino Publishing Company amongst others.

Bonjah are management by Lemon Tree Music, and booked by Damo Costin's 123 Agency. They are launching their album in May and will tour in August.
